Dysphagia care training & texture modified foods are topics that arise daily in health & social care facilities, even more now with the introduction of the IDDSI framework. Whether it’s a Residential Aged Care Facility asking for training for all their staff members, or an individual looking to improve their dysphagia care skills, our course will give you the knowledge and experience to bring safe nutritious and appetising meals for those who need it.
Depending on if your are ordering as an individual or as an organisation, the course includes :
- Online course (for individuals and organisations): 3h hours of learning covering dysphagia, IDDSI and Nutrition theory and assessment.
- Group-based practical workshop (for organisations only): Preparation, production and Flow Testing of texture modified foods and drinks as per the 8 levels of the IDDSI Framework
3 hours for online theory
+ 6 hours for practical workshop (organisations only)
Individuals: $75 for online theory only
Organisations: $3 000 for online theory + group workshop of a maximum of 20 participants
